ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A LIFE-CHANGING MISSION EXPERIENCE THAT WILL CHALLENGE YOUR GROUP TO LIVE THE MISSION GOD HAS FOR THEIR LIVES?
That is exactly what we are focused on here at NEXT. There are many good mission organizations you could choose to serve with. Below are a few distinctives about NEXT Worldwide that we hope will bring clarity to your decision about how to go about engaging in missions.
Start-to-Finish Planning and Logistics
Whether individuals or a group of 100, from the time you sign up until after you return, we take care of all the details so you can continue to lead the ministry God has called you to lead. We go beyond just taking care of you once you arrive at the mission site. We walk with you throughout the whole process. From registration, to fundraising, to pre-trip training, to airfare contracts, to travel insurance, to on-field logistics, and even follow up materials, we have you covered.
Focus on Church Planting
While there are many good things you can do on a mission trip, NEXT’s primary emphasis is planting or establishing a local church that transforms the community through the power of the Gospel. Trip participants will have opportunities to build relationships with the local people, share the Gospel with them, and then immediately connect them to a local church.
Emphasis on Leadership Training
Leadership training and discipleship materials are provided before, during, and after the trip. On the field, participants engage in high-level, proven leadership- training each day that will equip them to be skilled, missional leaders wherever God places them.
NEXT Mission Leaders are full-time staff that are in long-term partnerships with our church planters. They are experienced in missions and ministry. Our mission leaders are constantly studying missions and leadership and can be trusted to effectively lead your trip, even if emergencies arise.
Many mission trips end up being nothing more than an emotional high. At NEXT we structure our trips for long-term impact. Because of our partnership with local pastors with a long-term church planting strategy, the impact of participants’ service will last long after they return home.
